5th February 2022 - Come and Sing Brahms Requiem - St Mary's Church Putney

Around 120 singers attended our Come and Sing day making a lovely sound in this historical church. The FHCS choir members had baked a lot of cakes and cookies for tea. All profits from the cake buffet were given to Glassdoor: a London based charity that is sheltering homeless people in various west London churches including St Mary's Church

Such a joyful evening singing the Vivaldi Gloria and Christmas Carols. Our first concert after 2 years of Covid restrictions.

Away day June 22nd 2019

Two years ago the choir was invited to sing at St. Michael and all Angels Church in Pirbright in order to help raise funds for the church...... a choir member had grown up in the village and so it was a poignant and welcome return for her. It was decided to make a day if it and a number of members enjoyed not only participating in the concert, but also investigating the well known war graves in Brookwood cemetery, and gathering on Pirbright village green for a fabulously sunny picnic afterwards. The concert was a great success with choir and audience members thoroughly enjoying the afternoon. One of several hugely positive community activities that the choir took part in that year.
